Breast Abnormalities Warrant a Call to Your Doctor

If you notice anything unusual about your breasts, call your doctor. Breast cancer symptoms can include lumps or hard spots in breast tissue or in the underarms; a change in breast or nipple size, shape or color; pain or discomfort in the breast; a dimple or pucker in the skin of the breast (resembling an orange peel); scaly breast skin; an inverted nipple; visible blood veins in the breast; or unusual nipple discharge. Cancer is one of many possible causes, so if you have one of these symptoms, don't panic but do call your doctor.
